It's transfer time! I am heading up to Weston, MA! I am so excited for this opportunity to serve there! It's also crazy to me that I am leaving Glastonbury. I didn't expect it to be this hard to say goodbye to everyone! But I am so sad to be leaving the people here. I have so much love for the people here and I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to serve here. I have grown in so many different ways. A piece of my heart will always be here in Glastonbury.
This week was crazy busy! On Tuesday we were in Avon for exchanges. That was fun to be back in my baby area for the day. I got to see some of my favorite people! I spent the day with Sister Cannell. She is amazing! She is going home this week! She is such a spiritual giant and I am so thankful I got to learn from her and get her advice on some things.
On Wednesday we had a pretty busy day and we had a couple of good lessons. And on Thursday we went and did service for Bill and Joyce. Man, I love them!
And then Friday! Woah! So we were told that our transfer texts (telling us about transfers and where people are going) would be a couple hours late. So we had to wait in anticipation for what was coming. Sister Owens and I had an idea that we were going to be split up... so we waited! I was so nervous! But then it came! As I mentioned earlier- I am going to Weston, MA. This is actually where the mission President lives! So I will get to see President and Sister Miller fairly regularly! Along with covering the Weston 1st and Weston 2nd wards My companion and I will be in charge of the Portable Visitors Center. I have sent picutres of different tours and things that the PVC does and I am so excited for this opportunity to travel around the mission to different events! Pretty Exciting!
For the last couple days we have been making the rounds so I can say goodbye to everyone! Goodbyes are SO hard! I am going to miss it here so much!
I am thankful to be on a mission. I love the Lord and I love His gospel. I have no idea where I would be without it.
I hope everyone has a great week!
Love, Sister Egan
